I will not have a company; the marketing, distribution, customer support, and so forth is handled by the company who bought the technology, and for tax reasons self-incorporation is undesirable. Nor will I have an employer; it's a royalty deal. So what do I call myself? ``Consultant'' Too tacky, and headhunters bother you. ``Independent software author'' A bit pretentious. ``Inventor'' I'm entitled, the patent is pending. Ideas? Also, anybody know of any good health plans for self-employed people? I'm looking for high deductible, high ceiling, broad coverage plans. John Nagle
