The  version  of  MicroEMACS that was recently posted to this newsgroup is a
rather  outdated  version  of  an  editor that is activly being improved and
updated.  I  have been assisting the the developer of the program will small
bits  and  pieces  of  the  work  (mostly  adding IBM PC stuff). The current
version  is  much  improved over the version posted and includes support for
VMS,  several  *NIXes,  MS-DOS,  PC-DOS,  the  Rainbow,  the IBM PC and BIOS
compatibles,  SCALDstations,  etc.  It  is  currently undergoing revision to
simplify configuration on the different terminals, computers, compilers, and
operating systems.

I will  distribute  the  current  version in about 10 (working days). I will
also  accept suggestions for improvement (including source for the changes I
hope) and answer questions.

P.S.: The current version contains a comprehensive manual.
