When the weather is good we sometimes lie outside to watch satellites pass by. I finally saw the Orbiter last year on one of its infrequent high-inclination orbits. We are trying to figure out if we can see Salyut 6 someday. I'm near Chicago now, but I observe from my mother's house in central Indiana when I visit.
