Billy Williams just missed the Hall of Fame, this time by only four votes.
He's been on the ballot five years now.  Is is only crime that he mouthed off
about the writers not voting him in years 3 and 4?  Or is it that he was
magnificent on non-winning Cub teams for so many years?  Or is it that the
voting sportswriters of the BBWA have more than 25% ignorant, narrow-minded
morons?
