TEAM CANADA probably refers to the Canadian Olympic team. I know what you're thinking, the olympics aren't for another two years. That's true but Canada is serious about winning the gold medal in front of the home crowd in 1988, and the people in charge of the olympic hockey program believe that the only way to do it is to start preparing for it four years ahead of time, and form a team that can play together as a unit for three hockey seasons. The team has been formed, and they're getting their game experience by playing various teams and entering tournaments like Moscow's Izvestia tournament. -- Jeff Richardson, DCIEM, Toronto (416) 635-2073 {linus,ihnp4,uw-beaver,floyd}!utcsri!dciem!jeff {allegra,ihnp4,linus,decvax}!utzoo!dciem!jeff
