Hello Trekfans out there!!

I noticed that there are some pairs of transient Star Trek
characters that were played by the same actor.  The list
is as follows (it is probably not exhaustive):

        Melakon         <=>     Dr. Sevrin
        Sarek           <=>     Romulan commander
        Trelane         <=>     Captain Koloth
        Ann Mulhall     <=>     Miranda Jones
        Dr. Van Gelder  <=>     Captain Ronald Tracy
        Nurse Chapel    <=>     Number One
        Peter Kirk      <=>     Tommy Starnes
        Septimus        <=>     Mr. Atoz (the librarian --
                                        A-to-Z, get it?)

It is left as an exercise to the reader to determine the
episode names (I may write a textbook someday on some topic).

Doesn't it seem as though Commodore Stone ("Court Martial")
and Dr. Daystrom were played by the same actor?  I think they
have different names in the credits, though.

I also noticed that a few of our favorites turned up as
villains on Batman:

        Bele            <=>     Riddler  (Frank Gorshin;
                                  John Astin also played riddler)
        Commodr. Mendez <=>     False Face  (How could I tell??)
        Losira          <=>     Catwoman  (also Barnaby Jones'
                                  secretary)
        Eleen           <=>     Catwoman  (Julie Newmar)
        Marta           <=>     Batgirl  (ok, not a villain)

Bill Shatner, by the way, was in Twilight Zone a couple times.
He played the man on the plane who saw a creature out on the
wing  (this episode was re-made in the Twilight Zone movie,
sans Bill -- I could not reach Bill for any comment on this,
sorry).  He also played the man who got caught up in a
small-town coffee-shop fortune-telling machine.
