I'm in the process of trying to install TeX on a DEC-20.  We have the
'generic' distribution tape, and the changes file I'm using is dated
July 10, 1984.  I've got a working INITeX from it, but haven't got the
foggiest notion as to how to generate either a VIRTeX or a production
TeX.  I'd appreciate any hints (but explicit information would be even
better ... )
