One agency has trips from $350 to $950, based on the hotel used. The cheaper hotels are in town and the beach ones start at nearly $600. I overheard someone in a store say that with the recent additional devaluation of the peso, the only significant cost was flying there and that one could get a very pleasant room on the beach for $10 a night, if one arranged it in Mexico on arrival. Does anyone have experience with this? Saving a couple hundred dollars is attractive, but the unkowns are high.
