I must object to this; it seems that Haining has missed the fact that much of the satire was meant to be distasteful. "The Gunfighters" now ranks as one of my favorite Hartnell stories (which, I have to admit, is not very hard), and I can not accept the reaction to the story by the British public (which shared Haining's view, for the most part). . ------- |-----| A.
