Saturday night was the meeting of the Jersey Jagaroth, during which we watched "The Gunfighters". Not one person in the room liked the episode. A comment was made that "V" would have been better to watch. Complaints: The repeated chorus in the background got to be rather grating after about 1 minute. There was a dearth of acting. The director obviously had no idea how to direct. Historical accuracy was not observed. Western pioneers most likely did not use British expressions, nor did they sport accents which would not be out of place in Sydney, Australia. The story was not intended to be a satire. Without a doubt, "The Gunfighters" is the worst Doctor Who story I have ever seen. It makes "Power of Kroll" look good. -- James C.
