Message-ID: <376@ucsbcsl.UUCP> Date: Wed, 15-Jan-86 14:33:12 EST Article-I.D.: ucsbcsl.376 Posted: Wed Jan 15 14:33:12 1986 Date-Received: Wed, 22-Jan-86 05:18:17 EST Organization: U.C. Santa Barbara Lines: 11 The /*NOSTRICT*/ lint directive, although described in the original Version 7 documentation, was not implemented in the Version 7 lint. It is also missing from the lints on 4.2BSD, Sun 2.0, and System V 2.0, although it is mentioned in the documentation for all of these. Does anyone out there know why this is? Is there a lint somewhere that implements /*NOSTRICT*/? -- James Frew ucbvax!ucsbcsl!frew Computer Systems Lab., Univ. of Calif., Santa Barbara, CA 93106 (805) 961-2309
