It's an intelligent infrared remote controller which can "watch" and "learn" the control sequences transmitted by most other IR remotes on the market. It's not much larger than many existing IR remotes. Now, if they could only give it a timer and a calendar and a larger memory, you wouldn't need a programmable VCR... For more info, see a recent issue of "Video" and/or "Video Review" magazines, one or both of which had articles about the GE remote controller. From ads in both magazines, it appears that the list price of the gadget is about $200.
