Kim Wootton of Saber Consultants, 416-964-6565, phoned to say that she's
trying to fill eleven positions in R & D for a firm in Mississauga
which is doing something that involves voice and data communications
with Northern Telecom's Meridian computers/switches.

They want three group leaders and eight programmer/analysts, with a
preference for people with Software Engineering, Data Communications or
Artificial Intelligence backgrounds (she tossed in the obligatory "Fifth
Generation" buzzword, which I suspect neither of us could define in a
pinch).  These people are running UNIX, VMS, RSX and MS-DOS
simultaneously in a single box.  They would like at least one year of
UNIX experience for the most junior positions.

She works from 9 AM to 8 PM(!).
