[Remove all sharp edges]

We're losing our CDC Cyber, so it's time to clean out the old directory.
Would anybody like a FORTRAN-callable process communication package in
COMPASS?  It runs under NOS and uses nothing more exotic than direct-
access permanent files.  We used to use it in the Poker System.
