Hi.

We try to send the data from Pyramid computer to QMS laser printer.  But,
the message "printer not on-line" (I forgot the exact words) appears on the 
console occasionally.

The laser printer works fine.  It prints the status summary sheet
when the printer is powered on.  Also, it prints the test pattern,
ejects page, etc. during on-line diagnostics.  This printer should
not cause any problem.

We checked the wire from laser printer to computer and it is firmly
connected.

But, still the message "... not on-line" appears on the console when
we try to send data to printer.

Is it a hardware problem?  Or, am I missing something?  Do you know any 
solution to this problem?  I welcome any kind of solutions.

The laser printer is QMS Lasergrafix 2400.
