I've got a problem with AUTHORIZE; I expect I don't understand something (it has happened before). To map UICs into a local accounting scheme, I use identifiers for all UICs. When I use DISKQUOTA for disk charging, I then get those nice identifiers in place of the UIC, so I have no down stream mapping to do. Almost all my UICs have the form nnnnn_mmmm (where nnnnn is a 5 digit octal number and mmmm is a 4 digit octal number). The one exception is [0,0]. No matter how I try, I cannot define 0_0 to be identified with [0,0]; When I try ADD/ID/VAL=UIC:[0,0] 0_0 the identifier for 0_0 ends up being %X80010003. What don't I understand? And thanks.
