implementation of the Unix "make" facility for MS-DOS, and now VAX/VMS.

    -	completely syntax-compatible with Unix "make"
    -	macros, default rules, prerequisite inference
    -	command file creation feature eliminates command line
	length restrictions
    -	VAX version runs on any VAX running VAX/VMS v4.0 or later
    -	DOS version runs on any PC running MS-DOS (PC-DOS) v2.00 or later
