Can anybody tell me where we can get a machine-readable catalogue of stars?
We have a small(ish) list of stars (extracted from the Yale catalogue), but
this only gives a 2D coordinate system. What we want is 3D coordinate data,
so we at least need the distance from earth as well as the RA & D values.
