Message-ID: <437@ho95e.UUCP> Date: Sat, 25-Jan-86 17:27:28 EST Article-I.D.: ho95e.437 Posted: Sat Jan 25 17:27:28 1986 Date-Received: Sun, 26-Jan-86 05:46:38 EST Distribution: net Organization: AT&T Bell Labs, Holmdel NJ Lines: 12 My van needs new tires again, and I want to get something that handles well in wet weather. Michelin makes two models of tire in the size I need (225/75R15) - the XA4 all-weather and the XHH summer tire (which has replaced the XM). I'd normally get the all-weather tire, but one of the dealers tells me it as a closed center rib, and does badly in wet weather, though it's ok in snow. Since this is New Jersey, it rains a lot more than it snows here. Does anyone have any experience with either of these tires, especially in rain?
