   I will be in the market for a newer family vehicle which must
 be a 4x4 capable of carrying 4 passengers,  and at a reasonable
 price.  An IH Scout seems to meet my needs better than a full-
 sized Blazer or Bronco.  On my budget,  the vehicles I am looking
 at are pre 1980.  Now my request of you net landers is for any
 information either good or bad from present or former Scout owners
 on models to stay away from or good things to look for.  I doubt
 that there will be enough interest to justify posting the results,
 if any,  on the net,  but if anyone is interested just let me know
 and I will send you the results.
