Another question for you CFI's (or FAR experts):

I am a student pilot, endorsed for solo cross-country,
(not really true YET, but for the sake of this question ...)
geo has a commercial certificate with an instrument rating.

Is it legal for him to fly as PIC under the hood in VFR conditions,
with me sitting in the right-hand seat looking out for him??
