The tentative plan is to land in Amsterdam May 1, head south through Germany, boogie around Austria and Switzerland, (supplementing our cycling with the train), bike down the Adriatic coast of Italy, over to Rome, up the Italian and French Riviera's, train it up to Paris, and finally some cycling in England and Scotland. Whew! We have four months to accomplish all of this. Any suggestions? Specifically, I'd like to know what to see and do, (none of us has ever been to Europe), what to look out for, and any general travelling and cycle touring hints from all of you travel and biker guru's out there.
