Recently, I posted a "Bicycle for Sale (NY/NJ area)" article to this newsgroup.
I received a mild flame for not restricting distribution of the article to
my immediate area, unless of course, I was willing to ship the bike.

Well, as it turned out, I sold the bike to someone who works in the same
building I do.  She doesn't have access to net news, though.  A friend of
hers in California saw the article and made her aware of it.

Now, if I had restricted distribution...
