Unless I'm very mistaken, John D. MacDonald and Margaret Millar
have no connection to each other. Margaret Millar was (is?) the
wife of Ross MacDonald (alias Kenneth Millar). He was the author
of the Lew Archer books among others. He passed away in 1983.
John D. Macdonald is still alive and writes the Travis McGee books.
