In connection with my followup to Evelyn Leeper's earlier article, the
name of Mario Vargas Llosa's latest book is "The Real Life of Alejandro
Mayta."  A generally favorable review by Robert Coover, along with a critical
assessment of his earlier work, can be found in the February 2, 1986 
Sunday New York Times Book Review.
