For those of you who might care...

The occupation of Eliot Hall by Reed College students ended at 10:30
a.m. Wednesday, January 29, after many tense hours of negotiation between
administration and the occupants.  In return, a committee of 6 members
of the Reed board of trustees and six students will be set up to
further negotiate a firm policy on investments in South Africa.
