Notice that the group isn't now named net.shuttle. I have no doubt that the folks who are suggesting that it be changed were not here when it was named net.columbia, and were not here through the several previous threats to change the name to something "more fitting." It's called net.columbia in memory of the first shuttle, and net.columbia it should stay. Period. If you want to go naming something net.challenger (or net.titanic, as has been suggested), then go name something new. This newsgroup's name already comemmorates something that deserves remembering. To change its name will be an affront to those of us who wish to continue the spirit in which this newsgroup was named. I was here when sjb wasn't a typo for srb.
