Thank you for the responses to my Thor query
("The King is Dead, Long Live the King (or is it the other
way around)").
Actually, I was aware of the meaning of the 'King is dead. . .' formula;
I was more interested in speculations on the parenthetical part.
Oh well, the new issue is out (I get it tomorrow) so it's kind of a moot
point now.
I will try to make myself a bit clearer in the future.
