Hal beat me to it, 'cause I was going to go home and get Mom Stern's
recipe to type in myself.  I can tell you that this is *great* kugel 
- Hal will be remembered fondly in the Boston area for years to come
(at least for the kugel anyways :-).  BTW, Hal forgot to mention that
you can omit the raisins and add another fruit (peaches are good) to 
make it a little less sweet.
