We have "small white beans" and "great northern beans" and "white beans" that look similar, but I've found after cooking some recipes with them that they don't taste similar. What I want to buy is @i[phaseolus vulgaris], the Boston Bean, and it just doesn't seem to exist here in antiboston. Anybody know what the secret west-coast name for Boston beans might be? If all else fails, I guess I can buy 20 pounds of them at Shop Rite the next time I'm in New Hampshire..... -- Brian Reid decwrl!glacier!reid Stanford reid@SU-Glacier.ARPA
