I just saw a press release from CTS FabriTek Datacomm
(6900 Shady Oak Rd., Eden Prairie, Minn. 55344
(612)941-9100) for a $395 "110, 300, 600, 1,200, 2,400
bps line of modems.  They are auto-answer, auto-dial
and Hayes compatible.  They come in a variety of internal
card, stnad alone and rack mount, have X.PC software and
have MNP available as an option.  (I would guess that the
$395 would be for the cheapset model - probably the card.)
