We definitely need it.  I'm tired of seeing 150 messages a day in net.misc
on this topic.  :-)

Come on, what happened to the concept of "actual need, not presumed need"?

If you like the topic so much, start it up in net.misc.  You'll know it's
time for a new category when everyone else starts complaining about the
uninteresting traffic.  Then no one will complain about the new group.
Until then no one can complain about you using net.misc.
