[Let's hope I don't mix up these Russian names :-)]

Yesterday (feb. 3), the only non-russian grandmaster in the candidate
matches, the Dutch IGM Jan Timman lost against the USSR IGM Arthur Joesoepov.
Joesoepov now has to play against Sokolov (the winner of the other match)
