I have some questions regarding checkers. Some of you
might have answers. What are the main events currently
in tournament checkers in and outside U.S?  Are there
recent books on checkers theory? (I have a few books
by Tom Wiswell, Kenneth Grover etc. but they are atleast
forty years old.) What about computerized checkers?
Are there programs significantly better than Samuel's?
