This is not a contest; I need to know the answer!

In front of the New York Public Library, there are two lions.  I had
thought their names were Patience and Fortitude, but now I am told that
this is wrong.  

Does anyone know their names?

(The myth associated with them is that they get up and roar whenever a
virgin walks by.)
