	Position: Technical Director

	Dept: Software Engineering

	Overall Function: Plans, consults, reviews, negotiates, and
			  recommends complex technical programs,
			  strategies and issues to enhance and
			  develop current and future products.
			  Plans, identifies and recommends new software
			  requirements in the telephony industry. 
			  Provides technical expertise to hardware and
			  software engineering staff.

	Requirements:  A minimum of a BSCS or BSEE with advanced degree
		       highly desirable. A minimum of twelve years 
		       design/development experience in hardware, software
		       and systems. Knowledge of the telecommunication
		       industry, preferable digital central office, is
		       necessary. Experience in planning and
		       interfacing with customers is highly desirable.
