In a recent column in the Portland weekly shopper, "This Week", Michael
Burgess writes:

    Insomniacs glued to the David Letterman Show last week were treated to
    proof positive that the legendary dumb blonde is alive and well in
    Malibu.  Next time you find yourself whimpering in front of a Bo Derek
    poster, bear in mind that this is a woman who could not, even when
    prompted with a yearbook, remember the name of her high school.  I wish
    I were kidding.  Flashing the smile that got Mrs. Derek wherever it is
    that she is today, Bo explained:  "I spent a lot of time at the beach."
