C.S. Dept., St. John's Lines: 24 One Day, the Pope was scheduled to give a sermon from a balcony of his place of residence in Vatican City, overlooking St. Peter's Square. However, it was one of those days that the Pope did not feel up to giving a sermon of any sort. However, having been persuaded by one of his coleagues, he proceeded to the balcony, where he was greeted by an almost deafening roar of cheers and applause from the people awaiting for the Pope's holy words of encouragement. The Pope gave a relatively BRIEF sermon and walked away from the balcony. The sermon, however, was not heard by neither the people, nor the Pope's colleagues, as the noise of the crowd prevented anyone from hearing what His Holiness had to say. All that one could make out were some gestures that the Pope had made with his arms. One of his colleagues went over to him and said, "Your Holiness, the crowd was so loud that we did not hear the words of encouragement yu had to say to your devoted followers. What did you say to them?" The Pope replied,"I was not in any mood for these noisy people today. I said to them, 'If I told you once, I told you a million times, get the F**K off the grass!!!!' "
