. . . but this one may be: Remember, about 12 years ago, when the Euell Gibbons
commercials were a part of daily life?  ("Did'ja ever eat a pine tree? . . .")
I went with a group of friends to see Deep Throat and The Devil in Miss Jones.
During one of the deeper scenes, when there was little dialogue (because the
leading lady was too polite to talk with her mouth full), one of my buddies
declared, loudly: "Many parts ARE edible"
     Uproarious mirth throughout the theater.   True story.  This happened
in Berkeley.
