A wonderful thing happened to me a few years ago.  I lived quite close
to an empty block while the Boston Arson Collective was doing
business.  Therefore, it wasn't surprising when Bill woke me with the
information that almost the whole block was burning.  We went down to
watch the valiant efforts of the fire department to save the
neighborhood movie house, the only business blocking demolition and
redevelopment of the entire block.  The flames advanced and were
beaten back, the street was filled with smoke, startled movie patrons
filed out, coughing and gaping.

And so it happened that I got to shout "THEATER!" at a crowded fire.
