Three erudite gentlemen from the english department were having
afternoon drinks at a local sidewalk cafe.  Engaged in typical
afternoon oration, they eventually noticed three young ladies of the
evening sashay down the sidewalk.  One gentleman said to his two
companions, "Gentlemen, how might we best describe this situation
we observe transpiring"?

A second gentleman was quick to repsond, "Clearly, this situation
can be described as an anthology of prose".

"No", exclaimed the third, "I do not think you have adequately perceived
the finer details, this is obviously a trey of tarts".

At which point the original inquisitor retorted, "I am afraid you both
have failed to comprehend the quintessential attributes, what we are
observing is undoubtedly an essay of trollops".
