Well, being that flashing green traffic signals are an attribute of Massachusetts, I guess it qualifies!!! (Note that at least until 1983, Massachussets did not subscribe to the Uniform Vehicle Code!) Flashing green signals occur in Massachusetts, usually meaning that the signal is a pedestrian signal, triggered only by pedestrian request, i.e. subject to change from green to either yellow and then red (w/ walk light for pedestrian) OR (another MassHole peculiarity) yellow and red combined (MassHole OK for pedestrian to walk). Flashing green generally means "keep'on truckin" -- open season on jaywalkers (sorry about that J.J.).
