Message-ID: <1218@princeton.UUCP> Date: Wed, 12-Feb-86 21:26:46 EST Article-I.D.: princeto.1218 Posted: Wed Feb 12 21:26:46 1986 Date-Received: Fri, 14-Feb-86 02:30:27 EST Distribution: net Organization: Princeton University EECS Dept Lines: 16 Xref: watmath net.lang:2099 net.micro:13780 net.micro.pc:6935 net.lang.pascal:454 The MYSTIC Pascal has been appeared on several magazine for several months However, the price looks like a oscillatory function of time ! Now it is even as low as 16 bucks. Can anyone either post a summary of his impression of this Pascal or send me mail ( I will post the results later ) ? In particualr, I am wondering about the following things : (1) Is it now a full, working implementation ? (2) Is it standard Pascal ? Or I can chop a large program into small separate subprogram and compile them separately . (3) The claimed concurrency certainly is not standard Pascal. Is it working flawlessly ? Do we get a special Modular-2 ? (4) How is the assembly language interface ? Is it easier than TURBO ? (5) Does it support 8087 math chip ? Thank in advance. HP Wei (wei@princeton)
