I have a set of measured points from a function of the form: A = f(x,y) The interpolation sould go through each point exactly, the precision of the original is about 3 digits and the output only needs to be about 2 digits. I have no information about the function other than an array of points equaly spaced in x and y. What I need is to be able to interpolate for any point (x,y) in real time. I have a somewhat unlimited pre-use time (i.e. I can masage the data all I want before taking it into the realtime aplication). I am running in realtime on a VAX with a floating point accelarator so I can handle a reasonable complex formula, what I cann't do is use an iterative technique. Any help would be appreciated, I have yet to make a trip to the local university library so titles of recomended books would help. Please respond directly to me, if there is any other interest I will copy to those individuals. Thansk in advance. Tom Gralewicz UUCP: {convex!smu, texsun, ut-sally, rice} ti-csl!tgralewi
