This had never happened to me before. When it happened, I kept it elevated and iced (10 mins on and 10 mins off) for about 12 hours (till bedtime). The next day I kept it elevated. For the next week, all my walking on it was aided my an elastic ankle brace. After the 2nd day, it got better very fast, but it has yet to be 100%. It is now 2 1/2 weeks later, and it is still a bit sore and slightly swollen. I can walk and run almost normally on it, but certain positions are still uncomfortable. My question is: did I treat it properly, and if so, is there still anything else I can do to help its present condition? Is this normal? And how long before it returns to its original form? -- NAME: Evan L.
