Model 25 and associated hardware (advanced color/extended mono/70MB disk) are to be available 3Q86 as well as some of the application software. The model 20 may be expanded to 180MB of disk storage (40/70/70) and the model 25 may have 3 70MB disks (210MB max). The streaming tape is fully supported by AIX. Basic, Pascal, Fortran were also released. Also note that the distribution chain will not be the same as that for the other PC series. DAVAR's will not be supported and not all dealers will qualify. The RT may have as many as eight users and may be expanded to 4MB of physical memory and 1 Terabyte of virtual memory. DOS applications may run on the AT coprocessor board concurrently with AIX. The AIX implementation is based on AT&T System V release 1 with "chosen" SVR2 and BSD4.2 enhancements.
