It seems logical that a REAL threat to their future business viability might get them to use as much muscle to undo these laws as they used to have them enacted. The greatest threat to any of these companys would be products that do at least as much or more and are put in the public domain. If we show the ability to wipe out only 1 major product, these companys will take notice. I, for one, am willing to put some money behind such a project (it would take the time and efforts of some good freelance developers to do the trick). Is anyone else out there interested?
