This is different from curses, wms, etc which are all oriented twards character devices like terminals. I am interested in a package that would support bit-mapped graphics where the display device is a frame-buffer. The ideal package would: * Multifont bitmapped text in windows * Graphics (lines, circles, rectangles, etc (GKS?)) in windows * Window management (dealing with overlapping windows, connecting processes with windows, etc) Is there such a package, or proto-standard that is available for cheap or public domain?
