I have had some problems with it over the last few months. Now my norton utilities disktest program tells me that I have a bad FAT. Other than the notice from disktest, I would not have known - no other symptoms. 1) what is the long term potential danger of continuing to use the machine in this state, and 2) is there any way that I can remedy this short of backing everything up and reformatting. ------- Terry Harrison 310 Business Administration Building Penn State University University Park, PA 16802 (814) 863-3357 BITNET: hbx@psuvm UUCP: :akgua,allegra,ihnp4,cbosgd:!psuvax1!psuvm.BITNET!hbx ARPA: hbx%psuvm.bitnet@wiscvm.arpa
