As an example, Computers Plus in Littleton MA was quoting a price for the 20mb system in the area of $2500-2600. Similarly for Perry Computers in Perry MI. This price didn't include a monitor or monitor card, but you should be able to pick up these on the aftermarket, if the price these stores offer is still too high. I have a PC/AT myself, but if I was in the market today, I would definitely consider the Tandy 3000 as a real possibility. The prices are as favorable as the PC Limited unit, and, unlike PC Limited, you have a large corporation standing behind the equipment. I have purchased other equipment from Computers Plus with great satisfaction, though I have no direct experience with Perry Computers. -- /Steve Dyer dyer@harvard.harvard.edu harvard!dyer
